The exterior view of this Australian structure looks like a business office, but it’s actually a comfortable residence. Architecton has given formal touches to the house without ignoring comfort factor. Caroline Residence Project is the complete name, firstly consisting of two buildings, but the architect has combined it into a single unit. You can find the house in Melbourne.
The front part of the house features several large glass windows. They help the structure to appear more welcoming and greet every guest in a cool way. The main material of the main entry door is even glass, so one can see the residents when they’re walking to open it. It’s very captivating, right? When entering the interior, you will be greeted by a perfect blend of black, gray and white which suggest bold elegance.
The living room is not just an area for entertaining guests; I consider it as a work of art. The room awesomely integrates with dining space and kitchen; it even extends to the back patio. The open concept allows for comfortable movement and creating good air circulation. Sophisticated sofas and tables are placed on the right locations; they make good organization for the room.
Not only comfy furniture pieces, the living room also presents a television for entertainment. There’s also a modern fireplace, ready to deliver warmth whenever the residents need it. Meanwhile, the kitchen area boasts a beautiful and large white marble island. Cooking and enjoying meals can be done easily on the work surface.
Moving into the bathroom, you can find a luxurious big white tub. Soaking there must be very relaxing and refreshing. The wine cellar becomes my favorite area; it accommodates so many classy wine bottles. I think Architecton has given a real proof that a house in formal style can also feel inviting.
